“It worked well for both of the children, they were both very happy there and both ended up with scholarships to their chosen schools (St John’s and City of London Freemen’s School). Both enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere and the spring productions. There was always a good range of staff, some of whom over the years were outstanding. They were always caring and had time for the children. Although a small school, it always had lots of sporting fixtures and encouraged everyone to join in.” Parent – Gaye Collis
“The communication between the staff and us as parents is brilliant and I feel that I have a good relationship with my children's teachers. If I have concerns or worries, I have always been able to share them with the staff. The staff know my children very well, and this is important to me. I also really like the caring attitude of the teachers. In addition, I like the fact that the school is intimate, and my children's achievements are always recognised and praised. This has helped create very happy confident and able children. My daughter loves the social side, getting involved in school life in all ways. She flourishes in the theatre, enjoys the sport, loved being part of a successful debating team. Belmont has given my children a multitude of opportunity from photography to singing, debating, netball, hockey, responsibility - to name a few. My youngest in pre prep loves Belmont too. He came home so excited last week having attended a 'spy club' which had really set his imagination alight. Every day he tells me something new that he has learnt. For him school is a pleasure. I cannot sing the praises of the pre prep staff enough. The team down there is second to none, and all four of my children have had the most wonderful, kind and inspiring start to their education. In main school, there are a lot of good teachers too - my daughter is so thrilled with the new maths teacher - she says that she has transformed her maths!” Parent – Sophie Jackson
